A Very Vegan Valentine's Day

Not eating dairy is difficult enough without having to go through Valentine's Day unable to scarf down a box of Godiva or See's.  What is a vegan chocolate lover to do?  Thank goodness for the vegan vendors at Etsy.com!  There are some yummy treats out there for vegans and non-vegans alike.  These companies can make some great favors or desserts for your wedding guests as well.  Everyone is sure to enjoy and when they find out they are vegan they'll be floored.

Take a look at these little yums yums from the Cupcake Mint:  Baby chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream-ALL VEGAN-guaranteed you won't be able to tell the difference.  They are sold in quantities of six and come with the icing on the side so you can decorate then gift.  Each order includes a handwritten note and handwritten instructions on how to decorate the cupcakes.

Sweet V Confections sells these fabulous hand-poured chocolates and it's a sampler so you can have all the vegan variety goodness.   No dairy, no eggs and no honey, Honey!

Like cookies better?  Try these mini vegan shortbread cookies also by Sweet V Confections.  4 dozen for $7.00!  Sweet V says they will melt in your mouth.

Please consider buying vegan sweets and other vegan items from the Vegan Esty Team.  The animals and the environment will thank you!  You won't HEAR the "thank you" necessarily but you'll FEEL it in your big vegan heart.

Sunshine on a Rainy L.A. Day

Nothing brightens this rainy day like bright yellow WHIRLY POPS!! Those flip flops are reminding me of summer and warm sand with the sound of crashing waves in the background....(Insert BIG SIGH here)....
